Melange #2 is a zine written by Sandy from Australia. In her personal zine, Sandy writes on stuff about appreciating life through wine, beer, food, holidays, hangovers and good company. Melange #2 also comes with snippets from Sandy's kitchen notebook, some wine theory, a bit about human needs, and cameraphone photos of things sha eaten in the last couple of years. Entertaining read. Recommended if you are searching for something else to read other than music zines.
18 DECEMBER 2009: CONSCIOUS #3 & MOSH #12
Conscious #3 is a very well written, thought provoking personal zine. The first two issues were not written in this manner. It was only at this issue that Ben decides to write his zine in a more personal manner. In this issue, Ben shares with us his life stories about his experiences with police brutality on the new year's eve, history of his family and how he wanted to meet his real brother and many more stories that will make you pause for a while and think about it. You seldom get a chance to see this kind of zine in Malaysia. Look forward to even more issues from Ben.
Nizang returns yet with another issue of Mosh. This issue number 12 features interviews with THE FURY, DOUGLAS WARD, THE GARRISON and COCK SAY COCK DUNG. Also includes regular stuffs like music reviews, zine reviews and more music reviews. Mosh is a very reliable zine if you are interested in knowing more about the diy music scene in Malaysia. The interview with douglas ward was done live! So do get a copy and check it out. If you got stuffs to be reviewed, do send it in to Nizang. He writes wonderful and constructive reviews.

Ramblings So I Could Make Sense Of The World is a one shot art zine made by Nazierah Sanat, from Singapore. Her artworks sort of gave us an excerpt of the things that goes on in her mind which probably consists of frustrations, deaths and other dark thoughts. She also talks about her sister’s dream whereby her tooth fall out with blood all over. This dream usually means death, which coincidently came true. Nazierah’s artwork can also be found on the front cover of Nymphoids mini novel by Denise Francisco. This little zine is a very nice piece of artwork to own and to keep.
9 AUGUST 2009: MOSH ZINES!!
Mosh is a diy fanzine from Malaysia made by Nizang and it focuses on independent music, art and basically life. This great little publication has been around for about 10 years and at the same time issue #11 came out, a fully coloured pro-printed independent music magazine with the same name as this zine from indonesia came out but I think it came with an exclamation mark. So please do not confuse yourself with the Mosh! Magazine because this ain't it. This is a DIY small scale publication which i personally think is more awesome than Mosh! Magazine. Most zine distro don't carry music fanzines because they are uninteresting and boring. This zine will probably change that mentality. Highly recommended!

This issue of Beat Motel is a little thinner that the previous issue number 8 but the cheaper price of this issue makes up for it and still gives you the value for money on what you are paying for. I think what is great about Beat Motel is that they really pack in alot of stuff for you to read and at the same time price their zine cheaply and that is fucking punk rock!
Beat Motel issue numer 9 is packed with tons of zine reviews, record reviews and gig reports. Do look forward to reading the columns section in this Beat Motel issue number 9 whereby the columnists write on a loose theme on 'procreation'. I will leave the rest to you to pick up this zine and find out more.

Innerview return back with yet an even awesome issue. This issue is a Grrl issue. With that, it focuses on all subjects regarding gender equality, feminism and some sexism issues. Contains interviews with bands like THE PIPS, ODDITY and 97-SHIKI and interviews with people like THILAGA and NIESA. It's an eye opener issue if you are just into getting to know more about feminism and sexual equality between male and females and it certainly makes you appreciate the existence of females in this world even more.

Candy Or Medicine is a quarterly mini comic anthology that is made by Josh Blair. They comic artists from all over the world of all skill level to send in comics to be published in future volumes of Candy Or Medicine. What makes this comic awesome is that every volume consists of various artists with different style and character.

Coming from Malaysia, Innerview is a zine that contains 75.7% interviews with people in the scene, be it bands, artists, individuals or whoever that is worth to be interviewed. Innerview zine was also made to provide a platform for people to express things and reveal whatever that they have inside for other people to read and learn things from them. Innerview zine also contains 24.3% space for articles, art stuffs and some reviews. Innerview is a promising zine and it looks like it is here to stay!
02 MARCH 2009: NYMPHOIDS #1 NOW AVAILABLE
It is a pleasure for Shaded Out Press to collaborate with Denise Francisco to release the first issue of Nymphoids that is written by Denise herself. Currently revolving around a heartbreak theme from mush heartbreak stories to the weirdest ways to having your heart broken, this first issue consist of a poem and a nicely written mini novel that tells a tale of a girl called Krisha and how she got her heart brokened.
If you ever had an ex and went through a heartbreak yourself , this zine is definitely easy to relate to. If you are currently in a bad relationship or just went through some shitty relationship, now is a good time to pick this up. Even if you have never been in a relationship, this zine is still worth the read!

This is probably the best issue of Black Carrot that has been written up to date by Dave.
If you have got no idea about Black Carrot zine, now is probably the best time to get in on Black Carrot zine. Well written. Well thought. A very informative and enjoyable read. You wouldn't want to miss out on this one!
Beat Motel #8 is a zine that is jammed packed! I say again, jammed packed with tonnes of columns, zine reviews, cd reviews, live reviews and book reviews. But then again, this issue is not crammed with loads of nonsense but each and every single page is detailed and a whole lot of thought put into every page. Beat Motel is 80 pages and contains 67 zine reviews, 142 cd reviews, 10 live reviews, 18 columnists and 69,400 words!!
